Hello deviantart users and staff, This is the last journal entry I will make here on this site. My account here is fairly inactive as of late (if you haven't noticed) so I'm not sure how long ago the "terms and agreements" were altered. Frankly,  I'm concerned. I believe that an artist deserves proper compensation and recognition for their work at all times.  A site that supports artists as much as they do should honor that. Instead, as their terms and agreement would tell you,  they are allowed to use what ever work they see on their site for their own purposes, royalty-free,  And without consent of the artist. Just look it up. I will begin

I've learned a lot about myself within the past year, and have always kept a positive look on the future despite the nasty tendencies not to. My work has changed tremendously, and not in a healthy progressive type of way either. I found that I learn backwards a lot, and it's been a hard journey to the deep end and I think I'm starting my trip back home. I feel very optimistic about this new year. I hope you are too- My new years resolution is to be as productive as I possibly can without letting fear get in the way. Also, I want to be more politically involved, (I should care more about what my government is doing; you should too). Don't get down about the end of the world- whether or not it comes, it shouldn't be a downer. Just think of it as a new experience...that may kill you...or not... :aww:
